First virtual gateway to understanding!

In the year 2000, I stumbled upon my first internet cafĂ©—a hotel corner restaurant with large glass windows connecting us with the quiet street outside. A few trees swayed lazily, and a solitary car passed by once every hour. Inside, aligned tables faced the walls, featuring transparent glass panels revealing computer screens below, allowing you to place your cup of drink while exploring the internet through the table. My first venture into the internet was a puzzling experience. This was a time before search engines, and I had to type web addresses directly into the browser's title bar (Do you remember that?).
